How to Subscribe
In "subscribing" to a web log (blog), you can set up a central "reader" or "aggregator" by which new posts to that blog (and all other blogs to which you may subscribe) are automatically updated to you. Therefore, instead of having to check multiple blog sites, youcan go to one site to view all the posts of your subscribed blogs.
To subscribe to this web log, you will need to first sign up with a blog reader or aggregator. There are a number of options, including but not limited to My Yahoo!, Google Reader, and Bloglines. (A search of "blog reader" or "blog aggregator" will result in a number of these types of readers.) We make no recommendation or comment on the usefulness or reliaility of any particular reader.
Once you set up a reader, you will need the details for subscribing to this blog. For most readers you'll need to plug a URL into your reader (typically referred to as the RSS or XML feed). To subscribe to this blog, please use the following feed:
http://www.calinsuranceregulation.com/home/rss.xml
You'll notice that if you click on the "Cal Insurance Regulation RSS" link in the Navigation Bar, you'll get a bunch of non-sensical writing. This can be ignored. All that is needed is to cut and paste the above link into the place where your blog reader tells you to.
How to Obtain Email Alerts
If you are uninterested in signing up with a reader, you can always simply refer back to this site. However, if you would like to receive email alerts of new posts, please send us your email address so that a member account can be created for you. Once an account is set up, you can sign in and subscribe for email alerts to posts from this website. Inquiries can be made to skook@barwol.com. We also have a privacy policy to ensure the protection of your private personal information.
